Hi, I’m Valerie.
Buying or selling a landed home is rarely just a property transaction.
It involves land, lifestyle, finances and often the next chapter of your family —and this decision is probably your biggest one. That’s why, it matters who you engage to manage your property ultimately.
Why Landed?
I started my real estate career in 2024, and my journey into the landed market happened somewhat unexpectedly. At a roadshow for a new launch, I met a buyer who was looking to sell their semi-detached home discreetly, without listing it publicly. Through other means, I eventually connected with an elderly couple who were also looking to sell their detached home.
That was where my interest in landed property really began. The more I worked with landed homes, the more intrigued I became by how no two properties are quite the same. The plot, orientation, frontage, layout, age, rebuilding potential and surrounding environment can all change how a property should be assessed.
Before entering the industry, I found landed property intimidating to understand. The more I worked with it, the more I realised that was exactly what drew me to it.
There is always something more to look at.
I work with PropNex and alongside a close network of like-minded agents who specialise in the landed segment.
That means my clients don't only benefit from my own research and perspective. I can also tap into a wider network when it comes to market knowledge, buyer reach, comparable properties and opportunities.
For sellers especially, this gives your property exposure beyond my personal circle.
Still building. Always preparing.
I’m still relatively early in my real estate career.
So far, my transactions include:
01 Landed transaction
01 Resale HDB
01 New launch
+ Multiple rental transactions
I haven't done this hundreds of times — and I don't pretend otherwise.
What I do instead is prepare thoroughly for every property, every conversation and every decision. I research the numbers, understand the property, consider the alternatives and work through the details before advising my clients.
That is the standard I hold myself to.
Outside property
Outside of work, most of my time revolves around my five-year-old Golden Retriever — particularly games of fetch where she enthusiastically retrieves the ball and then decides it belongs to her.
When I'm not working or being outsmarted by my dog, I enjoy cooking and baking for my family whenever I have the time.
You may not be hiring me to hear about any of that.
But if we're going to spend months looking at houses, sitting in the car between viewings and standing at landed gates together, I think it's nice to know the person you're dealing with.
If you're considering a landed move
Whether you're buying your first landed home, selling one you've owned for years, or simply trying to understand whether landed property makes sense for your next move, I'm happy to have a conversation.
